Freedom from Iniquity

There are many reasons believers do not completely repent. A big reason is they do not (for various reasons) receive Christ's provision through his death for their iniquities.

There are three parts to an iniquity:
An “iniquity” is 1) a corrupt, perverted, bent place in the soul that causes
2) repeated, often nagging temptation toward a particular sin or trespass PLUS
3) the judgment, punishment and/or negative consequences for that sin and trespass.
Iniquity — the corruption, temptation AND negative consequences — enters a life in one of two ways:
1) Iniquity grows in your life because of your own sin — either often repeated or habitual sin or specific individual sin that the Bible calls “cursed.”
2) Iniquity has been passed from your previous generations.
There can be freedom from iniquity. The Growing Strong Oaks in Life (SOIL) class available from LivingOaks covers iniquity and how to resolve it in your life. Click below to enroll in the Growing SOIL class.

Growing Strong Oaks in Life (SOIL) Class

The Growing SOIL classes dig deeper identifying ways we can cultivate good soil in our lives as we grow into strong oaks of righteousness in Christ. Consider the parable of the soil; way side, rocky, thorny, and good, fertile soil. In order to grow, we must create an environment where we can thrive; we must become good, fertile soil to be fruitful and multiply.
